1. Extent of exposure during glove use

If the contact time of labor protection gloves with chemical substances is prolonged, its chemical resistance performance will be significantly reduced. Exposure to increased concentrations of the chemical, or direct dipping of the glove into the chemical can cause the glove to penetrate for less time than the manufacturer provides.

2. Ambient temperature of gloves

When the labor protection gloves are used, the temperature rises, the penetration rate of chemical substances is accelerated, and the penetration time is shortened. Standard breakthrough time data are obtained at room temperature (20-25°C). Gloves used at temperatures higher than this will greatly reduce their chemical resistance.
